BREEAM In-Use certification achieved for Bariblu Shopping Centre

Leucosia is pleased to announce that Bariblu Shopping Centre has successfully achieved BREEAM In-Use certification, marking an important milestone within the asset’s broader repositioning and enhancement strategy.

The property is a 34,000 sqm retail scheme comprising approximately 90 units, located in the Bari metropolitan area. The asset is currently undergoing a comprehensive repositioning programme led by Leucosia, focused on strengthening its commercial positioning, operational efficiency and long-term resilience.

The attainment of BREEAM certification represents a key step in improving the asset’s environmental, social and governance performance, through a structured approach to data management, operational monitoring and targeted interventions. This process supports the alignment of the property with evolving ESG standards and the expectations of both occupiers and investors within the retail sector.

Leucosia is leading the repositioning programme with the support of RE AD, acting as developer manager and technical advisor.
